sweet treat

So, I read somewhere online something about adding Izze to your ice cream. I've been dying to try it ever since. Today I got my chance and ohhh my! was it SO good! If you've ever had a root beer float, it's along those lines, but a tangy citric flavor instead. And that combined with the sweet ice cream is just so delicious! Just add your favorite flavor Izze ( I used Sparkling Mandarin) to some vanilla ice cream, and ta da! you have a summer treat! ♥

baby shower love

The baby shower I planned and put on for my sister came and went last week, and oh it all came together so lovely! My inspiration for the whole party came from this lovely party. I only spent $5 on supplies for decorations...used what I had in my own stash and did some bargain/garage sale shopping. My sister doesn't know what she's having so I went with the white/cream color scheme. Since it was all white, everything had such a soft touch and to add to that, I had lullabies playing softly the whole time.

Now it's time to wait for that sweet baby to arrive, and I'm going to have a hard time waiting! I love being an auntie♥

Okay. so not really. I actually don't like daisies one bit. But they are soooo pretty to photograph! Plus they are also my mom's favorite flower, so I can't help but think of her every time I see one.

And they have a bit of yellow. I love to photograph anything yellow.

a little butterfly love

Remember that baby shower I'm planning? well, I've been working on this butterfly mobile for the past two days for it. Did a little research online on how to make them and went at it. I'm totally loving the way it turned out - very time consuming, but soooo worth it. I can't wait to see how it all turns out for the shower....( it's this weekend!) I've had SO much fun planning and putting this all together!! eeeek!!
