today

12.12.12

Had the intention of taking a picture today at 12:12, but I remembered at 3:00...so much for that!
Ended up being home today which wasn't expected so I pulled out my boxes of vintage ornaments and decorated a little silver tinsel tree for my sisters room...then got to playing around with the camera. I love the color white so much around Christmas! so soft and pretty! ♥

Shopping in the big city today with the sisters and mom! Haven't been shopping with all of them in so very long and it was a blast!  Christmas shopping is just so much more fun when you're not doing it alone!  Love all the red captured in these images!

Christmas is such a magical time of year...loving it so very much!

white christmas

I love the color white so much for christmas...I love how some people decorate their entire homes for christmas with just using shades of white....it's so clean and pretty and you could even leave it all up longer -white goes perfectly with winter! I know I've been thinking of maybe doing my room up all in white in January...idk, it always seems so gloomy after we take all the christmas decorations, so maybe changing it up to some white would add some cheer!
These are some of my favorite ideas that I've found online-

Am simply loving everything white right now. That totally makes me smile. A few years ago I used to abhor white, and swear that I would *never* have anything white in my house someday. Ha! That sure has changed! I even bought a set of white dishes today to add to my stash, and I just looooove them! White is so clean and fresh, and just plain happy!

oh, and don't you just love that picture of the white Volkswagen Beetle?! *sigh* my dream car.

A pleasant weekend to you all♥
