Thomas W. Dougherty (1896-1970)
Thomas was my great-grandfather. He enlisted into the army in 1918. After he completed his calvary training, he was shipped overseas to France just a couple weeks before the war was over.

Grandpa was drafted into the service in 1942. After Basic Training, he went to Airplane Mechanic school and was put to work on P-39 planes. After graduating he was sent to Advanced Training school in California for pilots flying the P-39's and larger planes. He was stationed there from 1942-1946
Ralph Gillham (1894-1981)
(front row, second from right)Great-Grandpa Ralph was trained at Camp Clark in Nevada, Missouri. He was a bugler, stationed in Klackamus Washington. Due to health issues, he was never deployed.

Grandpa was part of the B-29 bomber quadrant and was stationed in India during WWII. He was part of the 24 hour bomb raid on Tokyo, Japan.
