freelensing love

A few weeks ago I stumbled across an article on freelensing. Tried it once and  loved the results soooo so much! I'm so hooked on it. I love the effect...how it softens the photo so much and leaves just a little bit in focus. So fun to play around with....I'm still working on perfecting it a bit and playing around with it but having so so much fun. I love this effect so much. There's some serious freelensing inspiration here on flickr. Some people are just too good at it!

Leaving for vacation tomorrow..so so excited! Been looking forward to this for so long and now it's finally here. Hope you lovelies have an incredible week..and I'll be back in a week or so! ♥

it's amost time to party!

Lotsa party planning and party making going on right now. Getting ready to throw a big graduation party for my sweet niece next week! A big milestone like this requires extra special  celebrating and extra special decorations...don'tchya think?!  I'm soooo excited about it! It's been a ton of fun to plan and get ready for...and I know the actual celebration will totally top it off!  Till then, I'm soaking all the orange and pink goodness, and crafting to my hearts content!

Goodness!  I. can't. wait. ♥

Turning one is so much fun. Even more fun when you get to get all dressed up to celebrate, and celebrate we did!

I can't stop smiling whenever I look at these photos. This little guy brings so much joy and smiles into every ones life! Love him so. so. much. ♥

One of the things I love about life right now is all the vases of hydrangeas sitting everywhere around the house. I never tire of them. Not one bit. ♥

And I love that some are pink.

let's have a picnic

Today was such a pretty day! Couldn't waste it inside, so we decided to have ourselves a little picnic together.....threw together some peanut butter sandwiches, found ourselves a quilt and some pretty pink plates and cups to use ( because you know, peanut butter sandwiches just taste better when it's served on pink plates!)  Found a big shady tree to eat under and had ourselves the loveliest little time!!  It's so sweet to listen to them think out loud...to hear what's going on inside their little minds. It was quite the lively time!  

I really should do this more often. ♥

Just one of those days...!!   A day perfect for ice cream, party planning, listening to my favorite tunes and pretty much just enjoying the lovely day. My favorite kiddos are coming today for the rest of the week, and we're going to have so much fun...I can't wait!! It's going to be a pretty awesome week. I just know. ♥
